Upon graduating from Boston University School of Music in 1992, a renowned flutist from Beijing named Qian Ni founded Eastment Instruments with the vision of providing quality handcrafted instruments for musicians.
Over 30 years later, Eastman has been operated by the Eastman family and is regarded as the best instrument-making company in the world. In most cases, a dealer selling original Eastman instruments can be hard to find. However, we provide the most authentic and high-quality Eastman instruments – at affordable prices – here at Milano Music Center.
In 2004, the Eastman Music Company bought Wm. S. Haynes Co. in order to include flutes in their instrument lineup. Ten years later, the Eastman Music Company purchased S.E. Shires Co. to add brasswind and generic brass instruments to their offerings as well.
This article sheds more light on the different Eastman string and wind instruments available.
