The High Spirits Gray Hawk in the key of "B♭" ("A#") minor has a distinctive blues quality to its voice and makes a great addition to a collection of the various flute keys.
Made from domestic aromatic cedar, a softwood, this wooden flute is sealed with non-toxic oils which give it a warm, resonant and full voice. It is very easy to play making it an ideal instrument for beginners.
It is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute. It is easier to learn on a 5-hole flute.
