This beautiful intermediate cello is crafted in Germany from aged European tonewoods. The Albert Nebel is carved from a select spruce top and flamed maple back, and has been meticulously hand antiqued. The cello is from Eastman's new Electro-Acoustic line, with an integrated pickup that maintains the traditional sound and style of an acoustic cello while capturing the warm and resonant qualities of the tonewoods. The pickup system is embedded into the top of the instrument, and the Eastman proprietary 3.5 mm jack is used as the end button, making it almost unnoticeable. The result is a cello that looks, feels, and sounds like a traditional acoustic instrument, while opening up new possibilities for creative exploration.
